Half day safeguarding children training looking at the impact of parental mental ill health; substance misuse and domestic abuse in families.
Safeguarding training which explores the impact on children, young people and parenting when their parents are experiencing specific difficulties: - Parental Substance Misuse; Parental Mental Illness; Domestic Abuse.
"Delegates will be able to: Examine how the three issues of parental substance misuse, parental mental illness and domestic abuse can impact on parenting; Focus on how these issues impact on children and young people; Gain awareness of the challenges these present for multi-disciplinary work; Increase knowledge in order to safeguard children and young people. "

For anyone working with children whose parents are experiencing substance misuse, domestic abuse or mental ill health. Used as refresher training for Designated Safeguarding Leads and their Deputies.
