Full day safeguarding children training looking at our understanding of Child Sexual Exploitation and how to support children most at risk.
Safeguarding children training which looks at the issues around Child Sexual Exploitation and the support and guidance available for professionals when working with children & young people at risk of CSE.
"Delegates will: Review their understanding of child sexual exploitation; Explore perceptions of victims and perpetrators; Build knowledge regarding Police distraction/ disruption tactics when working with children and young people at risk of CSE; Understand the links to trafficking and the National Referral Mechanism; Become familiar with multi-agency practice guidance, protocols and information sharing agreements to support approaches to CSE; Increase knowledge of the Partnership Information Sharing Form; Increase awareness of resources for working with children or young people at risk of CSE; Develop professional understanding and practice in engaging with children and young people at risk of CSE; Have an opportunity to explore CSE cases, consistent with the signs of safety model. "
Tea and coffee will be provided. LUNCH WILL NOT BE PROVIDED
Training for anyone working with children & young people, to build their knowledge around CSE. It can be used as refresher training for Designated Safeguarding Leads & their Deputies.
