The course will support primary schools in planning an effective, stimulating, broad and balanced curriculum, which covers all the required subject areas. Consideration will be given to curriculum design, teaching strategies and enabling pupils to acquire the essential knowledge, understanding and skills in all aspects of their education, including the humanities and linguistic, mathematical, scientific, technical, social, physical and artistic learning.
The course will cover: developing a curriculum vision, long term planning, teaching strategies and resources, pupils skills development, enrichment opportunities and sharing examples of a broad and balanced curriculum.
As a result of attending delegates should be able to lead the development of an engaging, broad and balanced curriculum in their school
Customers will be provided with tea/coffee on arrival, mid-morning and lunchtime. However, if a place is cancelled for any other reason schools will be charged the full fee if a place is cancelled within 21 days of the event.
